Ulrich "Ueli" Maurer is a Swiss politician who served as a Member of the Swiss Federal Council from 2009 to 2022. A member of the Swiss People's Party, he was President of the Swiss Confederation in 2013 and 2019. He was instrumental in giving crypto and blockchain projects in Crypto Valley a solid legal framework.
