Heinz Tännler was elected to the Cantonal Council of Zug in 2007. He headed the Department of Construction for nine years and represented the Canton of Zug as Landammann in 2015/2016. Since April 2016, he is serving as Finance Director. He is actively promoting blockchain technology in the canton of Zug since the beginning and is president of the Swiss Blockchain Federation.
